As I patiently watch curling on TSN while waiting for the habs/flyers game to come on(I suppose I could watch in french on RDS), I am starting to wonder why curling still has separate tournaments for men and women. As everyone in Ottawa knows, the impact of a public transit strike is huge. So many people had to drastically alter their lives and the timing couldn’t have been worse for retailers given the current recession.
